DUM ALOO

Ingredients:
Potato - 1 big (boiled, peeled,cubed 2" piece)
Onion - 1 big (chopped)
Tomato -1 1/2 big (chopped)
Salt - to taste
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
Curd - 1/4 cup(beaten)
Oil - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Butter - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - for garnishing

Method:
Heat oil (1 tbsp) in a pan and fry potato cubes golden brown all sides. Keep aside.
Heat 1/2 tbsp oil and saute onions till transparent. Now add tomatoes and fry till raw taste goes.
Cool onion-tomato mixture and grind to a smooth paste.
Heat remaining oil and add cumin seeds,garam masala, red chilli and salt.
Fry for a min and add onion tomato paste.
Once gravy is semi-boiled add potato cubes and fry till gravy thickens.
Add curd& mix well. Turn off heat.
Garnish with coriander leaves,butter & sprinkle a pinch of garam masala.
Serve hot with rice/pulav.
