ALOO BEANS SABZI

Ingredients:
Green beans(chopped) - 1 cup
Potatoes(peeled & cubed) - 2 med
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Salt - to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp

Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When they splutter, add asafoetida.
Add beans and potatoes. Add salt, tumeric,red chilli, coriander and garam masala powder.
Mix well. Cook on a low heat, without water. Cover with the lid.
Stir occasionally and cook till potatoes are tender.Mix well.
Serve aloo beans sabzi with roti or rice.
