PANEER CORN SANDWICH


INGREDIENTS:


Whole wheat bread
6-8 slices
Paneer
¼ cup grated
Corn (frozen)
¼ cup
Onion
2 tbsp – finely chopped
Mozzarella Cheese
2 tbsp grated
Salt
As per taste
Chaat masala powder
1 tsp
Red chili powder
¼ tsp
Butter
2-3 tbsp

METHOD:
  • Boil the frozen corn for 3-4 mins until cooked and drain off the water. Keep aside the corn for 5 mins so that it cools down.
  • In a mixing bowl, add ¼ cup grated paneer, ¼ cup cooked corn, 2 tbsp chopped onions, 2 tbsp grated mozzarella cheese (any other cheese can also be used), salt, ¼ tsp red chili powder, and 1 tsp chaat masala powder. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Take a slice of bread and put 2 tbsp of the filling on top of it. Place another slice of bread on top of the filling and gently press it.
  • Now heat a pan and add little butter and place the sandwich on it.  Press the sandwich gently using a spatula so that the cheese melts and holds both the bread slices together.
  • When the bottom side of sandwich is toasted golden brown, carefully flip the sandwich and toast golden brown.
  • When both sides are toasted golden brown, take out the sandwich to a plate.
  • Serve the sandwich hot and enjoy!!!
